There are still more than 10,000 homes in Kent without power.
Storm Eunice wreaked havoc across the country on Friday (February 18) as gusts of around 70mph battered the coastline and inland locations.
Kent’s firefighters were called out more than 400 times, passengers were stuck on trains as fallen trees blocked lines and the Dartford Crossing QEII Bridge closed was immediately closed due to high winds.

But UK Power Networks has a large “multi-day” job on its hands as it tries to resume power to thousands of homes across the south east.
Many people are still unable to switch on their heating, or even a light, after the storm deprived them of electricity.
As of yesterday (February 19) at 6am, more than 33,000 homes were powerless.
This morning (February 20), this number now sits at 11,500.
That means more than 21,000 homes have had their power issues resolved over the last 24 hours.

UK Power Networks says it aims to get everyone’s power back on by the end of today.
In a statement it said: “Our teams are working hard around the clock, aiming to restore power to the majority of homes and businesses without power by the end of today (Sunday).
Within 24 hours of Storm Eunice clearing the South East and East of England on Friday, our engineers had restored electricity to 95% of the 679,700 affected properties.
“We appreciate that some customers have been without power for longer than we would usually expect, due to the extensive damage caused to overhead power lines by 80mph winds.
“We are working tirelessly to restore power supplies as quickly as is safely possible.”
