Eastern Caribbean rocked by early morning earthquake

The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Center (UWI-SRC) has reported that an earthquake occurred in the Eastern Caribbean this morning, shortly before 1 am.

UWI-SRC said the earthquake measured 4.4 on the Richter scale.

The quake had a depth of 10 kilometres.

UWI-SRC said the quake was felt in Point-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda and Roseau, Dominica.
