Earthquake of 3.9 magnitude hits Maharashtra’s Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Aug 26 (UNI) An earthquake of magnitude 3.9 on the Richter scale hits Kolhapur in Maharashtra on Friday morning.

The earthquake occurred at 02.21 am. The central point of the earthquake was registered 171 km east of the district with depth of 10 km below the ground.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:3.9, Occurred on 26-08-2022, 02:21:50 IST, Lat: 16.82 & Long: 75.85, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: 171km E of Kolhapur, Maharashtra,” National Center for Seismology tweeted .

No damage or casualty has been reported due to the earthquake.
