3.5-magnitude earthquake jolts Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM – A 3.5-magnitude earthquake in the epicenter occurred in Kyrgyzstan at 3:08 pm on October 6, the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences reports.

The source of the earthquake is located in the mountains of the Zhetim ridge. It is 13 km southeast of Karakol village, 65 km southeast of Kaji-Sai village, 112 km northeast of Naryn, 132 km southwest from Karakol city.

Tremors of 2.5 magnitude were felt in Karakol village.
