A magnitude four earthquake hit a regional NSW town with tremors felt by a woman living 100km away in Canberra.
Geoscience Australia recorded the earthquake’s epicenter as beneath Boorowa, NSW at 9.45am.
A woman in Canberra posted to Facebook, that she felt an earthquake in the nation’s capital city – around 100km away.
“Did anyone else feel a baby earthquake in Canberra just now?” Facebook user, Jessica McLeod-Yu said.
Stations as far away as Buckleboo in South Australia and Quilpie in Queensland registered the earthquake.
It’s estimated the earthquake had a depth of 10 kilometers.
