A 5.3 magnitude earthquake was reported in West Texas at 3:32 pm Wednesday, according to the US Geological Survey website.
The quake was located about 10 miles west of Mentone right near the Reeves-Culberson County line near Mentone. Odessans reported feeling the quake across the city.
The National Weather Service in Midland posted on Twitter that they had received multiple reports of an earthquake.
