5.3 magnitude earthquake hits southern Iran, tremors slightly felt by UAE residents: NCM

Dubai: An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude in Richter Scale hit southern Iran on Thursday evening, the UAE’s National Center of Meteorology has said.

The quake was recorded at 5:59pm UAE time according to the NCM’s National Seismic Network. The quake had no effect in the UAE though it was slightly felt by residents, according to the NCM.
