The Duke of Sussex said he doesn’t have many early memories of his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, believing he internally “kept them out”.

Diana died in a car crash when Harry was 12, but the Duke, in his new Netflix documentary, says he still remembers her “cheeky laugh.”

“I remember my childhood being filled with laughter, happiness and adventure,” he says. “I don’t have a lot of early memories of my mom. It was like I kind of blocked them internally.”

Meanwhile, no palace officials or members of the royal family have been contacted for comment on the content of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Netflix documentaries, it has been claimed.

It was suggested that representatives of Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace, as well as members of the royal family themselves, were not given the opportunity to respond to accusations leveled by the couple during the first three episodes of their highly anticipated series.

The second season of the Harry and Meghan docu-series will begin airing on December 15.

In October 2016, Jason Knauf, communications minister under Prince William and Harry, informed them that a tabloid was about to pick up a story about their romance.

The night before the news broke, the couple decided to “pull the pin on the fun bomb” and go out in costume to a Halloween party in Toronto with Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, her then-boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank, and Meghan’s boyfriend, Marcus.

In a surprising docuseries moment, the Duke of Sussex has challenged his brother, the Prince of Wales, to their mother’s controversial panoramic interview to never air again.

Clips from the late Diana, Princess of Wales’ interview with BBC journalist Martin Bashir were shown in the first three episodes, with Prince Harry addressing the interview directly.

“I think she had a firsthand experience of her struggles in living that life. She felt compelled to talk about it. Especially in that panoramic interview. I think we all know now that she was duped into doing the interview. But at the same time she spoke about the truth of her experience,” Harry said.

Harry and Meghan viewers are amused after learning of the role the Snapchat dog filter played in the couple’s relationship

The Duke and Duchess shared insight into their relationship during the first episode of their Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan.

In the scene, Harry recalled that he and Meghan were introduced in 2016 after he saw her in a video posted to Instagram by a mutual friend while he was browsing his “feed”. As Prince Harry reflected on the similarities between his mother and Meghan, the duke defended the decisions he made to protect his family.

He said, “I accept that there will be people around the world who fundamentally disagree with what I did and how I did it, but I knew I had to do everything I could to protect my family.” “Especially after what happened to my mom. You know, I didn’t want history to repeat itself.”

Prince Harry opposes William’s stern request in a Netflix documentary

The Duke of Sussex has defied his brother, the Prince of Wales’s wish, to never air the controversial Panorama interview with their mother again.

In his new Netflix documentary series The Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, clips from the late Diana, Princess of Wales are shown interviewing the BBC’s Martin Bashir.
