Police have released photographs of a man wanted in connection with the murder of a woman in Sunderland last week.
Alexander Carr, 32, is wanted for the murder of Michelle Hanson, 47, whose body was found in a home on Dec. 2.
Footage of the suspect, captured by CCTV the next day, shows his distinctive gait.

Police believe Carr is “actively evading arrest”.
A £10,000 reward is being offered by the charity Crimestoppers for any information leading to his arrest.
Carr is from Sunderland, but has also been known to visit Newcastle and North Tyneside, and has connections to some areas in Northumberland and London.
Northumbria Police wrote in a tweet that Carr “considers himself able to survive outdoors”, so he could take shelter in empty buildings or outhouses.
Chief Superintendent Neil Hutchison said officers were determined to find him as soon as possible.
Thanking Sunderland residents for their support thus far, he said: “Obviously the past week has been a very difficult one for Ms Hanson’s family as they come to terms with her loss and these unfolding events.
“We will continue to support them and ask that their privacy be respected.”
