Sergio Aguero emulated John Terry by donning several outfits and joining the World Cup presentation – but the former Chelsea captain called out him for not going all the way by wearing shorts, socks and foot pads too.
Terry famously turned into Chelsea’s full sector for the 2012 UEFA Champions League Final presentation, despite being suspended for the match.
Aguero followed suit at the World Cup final in Doha, appearing in an Argentina shirt with the number 19 and playing a full part in the celebrations.
The former Manchester City striker lifted the World Cup himself, was photographed holding a drum as he led the cheer, and Lionel Messi was carried on his shoulders as fans packed Lusail Stadium.
However, Terry was unimpressed, tweeting: “If you have [sic] I would, at least use it and wear shin guards and boots. “
