Warzone 2 gear drops are finally back: purchase station cost and more

[ad_1]

Warzone 2 players will finally be able to purchase a full loadout collection while farm traversing. Here’s everything you need to know about the return of Loadout Drops in Warzone 2 including how much they cost.

On December 20th, the developers of Warzone 2 announced that Loadout Drops are back in the battle royale in the form of Loadout Drop Grenades. This item can be found at Purchase Stations across the farm and will deliver traditional custom Warzone gear with weapons, perk packs, and equipment.

This comes a day after the December 19th update lowered the cost of base gear weapons to $2,500, down from $5,000. It appears that the developers are working hard to make changes to Warzone 2 before the holiday season begins.

The developers also stated that “the continuation of this feature will depend on the feedback we receive and the overall impact on the Battle Royale experience.”

Although it’s only a temporary feature, the chances of Loadout Drops becoming a permanent fixture in Warzone 2 are pretty high given how tempting players are to see the return of the feature.

Warzone 2 Loadout Drops will be available for purchase at purchase stations. However, Loadout Drops have a different price depending on the playlist and team size.

Here’s a breakdown of the cost of gear drops in Warzone 2:

Solos: $8,000 Duo: $16,000 Duo: $24,000 Quad: $32,000

While players will certainly be pleased with the return of a much-needed feature, the cost of Loadout Drops in Warzone 2 has seen a significant increase outside of one-on-one encounters. In the original Warzone, Loadout Drops will return players $10,000 regardless of team size.

In Warzone 2, squad size is a factor and with each member, the gear drop cost increases by $8,000.

It will be interesting to watch how this change will affect Warzone 2 going forward, including the practical application of Strongholds. However, we will keep you updated on all the changes that are expected to happen in Warzone 2.
