Tyson Fury could eventually fight Anthony Joshua, top-rated promoter Bob Arum says, but their only focus right now is the undisputed heavyweight title bout with Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury has already completed an exciting triple-double with Deontay Wilder, beat Wladimir Klitschko to become the unified champion, and this year he sold out twice in court appearances.
He’s already brought up the idea of retiring, but the biggest fights of his career can still lie ahead.
Promoter Bob Arum reveals that Tyson Fury and Alexander Usyk have agreed to fight each other, but the date and location has yet to be confirmed.
Top tier promoter Arum stated to Sky Sports that Fury and Usyk agreed to fight each other next, with no further match in the meantime.
That massive contest would determine the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis, who won all of the division’s belts in 1999.
But that’s not the only main event that Fury can line up for. Arum did not rule out seeing him fight British rival and former champion Anthony Joshua in the future.

Joshua’s negotiations to fight Fury publicly broke down earlier this year, with Derek Chisora interfering to box Fury on the December 3 date making him available.
Fury later insisted that Joshua squandered his last chance to get the fight, but Arum remains hopeful it can still be achieved.

“Tyson was reckless because he offered Joshua the fight until the end of this year, which Chisora took and Joshua accepted and then walked away,” Arum told Sky Sports.
So Tyson really is [annoyed] at Joshua and says he will not fight him. But let’s see. Joshua and fury on the road could be a huge fight uk. We have to see.”
But Arum concluded, “But one fight at a time. Right now, the only heavyweight championship fight I’m looking forward to is Tyson and Oleksandr Usyk.”
