A four-year-old boy died at a Center Parcs resort after being pulled from a swimming pool.
Emergency services and air ambulance were dispatched to Longleat, Wiltshire, earlier today, but they were unable to save the child, who was staying in the compound.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Unfortunately, a four-year-old boy has been confirmed dead following an accident in Center Parks Longleat Forest near Warminster shortly after 11am. This is not being treated as suspicious. Our thoughts are with the boy’s family.” At this difficult time.”
The boy, who has not been named, was reportedly pulled out of the water at a “subtropical swimming paradise,” an area with slides and water games.
