Kim Kardashian opened up about her parenting struggles with ex-husband Kanye West in an emotional interview, admitting that it has been difficult raising her four children together since their divorce.

The Kardashian star ended her marriage to the Grammy Award-winning rapper in February 2021 after seven years, and their divorce was recently finalized.

They share four children; North, nine, Saint, seven, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three.

In recent weeks, the 45-year-old Kanye has been embroiled in controversy after he made a series of anti-Semitic comments, denouncing Black Lives Matter and praising Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, while also losing his lucrative partnership with Adidas.

Kim, 42, sat down for an in-depth interview with Angie Martinez on the IRL Podcast to discuss what it was like to co-parent with Kanye and try to protect their children from drama.

I definitely protected him and still will. In my children’s eyes — for my children, Kim explained.

“So in my house nothing happens to my kids that happens in the outside world and I’ve been able to — I’m holding on by thread and I know I’m pretty close to not having that happen, but while it’s still that way, I’ll protect that to the end of the earth for as long as I can.”

“My kids, they don’t know a thing,” she then exclaims to Angie’s shock, adding that her “best friends” are teachers at her kids’ school, so she’s aware of the conversations her kids have during breaks.

none of [other] Kids have said anything to my kids,” she revealed. When things break, I protect things as much as TVs and content.

‘it’s a [a fulltime job]”.

However, she admitted:[It’s] Worth it because of course I want to separate the thoughts from the things that are said because that’s not me, but at the same time in my house, I could struggle with something but if we’re riding to school and they want to listen to their dad’s music, no matter what’s going on in the world, they have to To put that smile on my face and play his music and sing and act like nothing’s wrong.

“Once I drop them, I can cry well.”

At this point Kim became emotional and broke down in tears saying, ‘I had the best dad – I don’t want to be emotional, it’s just been a day for me.

‘Difficult. Co-parenting is really hard.
