Kanye West’s former business manager can’t locate eccentric star to serve him $4.5 million lawsuit amid rumor he’s ‘missing’

KANYE West’s former business manager, Thomas St. John, has been unable to locate the off-season star to serve in a $4.5 million contract lawsuit amid rumors that the rapper is “missing,” according to court documents obtained by The US Sun.

The 45-year-old music mogul went viral after a tweet sent by The Daily Loud said, “Kanye West was said missing and couldn’t be found for weeks according to his former manager.”

The “former business manager” is believed to be Thomas St. John, given the ongoing lawsuit against Kanye and his Yeezy company.

19 court filing obtained exclusively by The US Sun, Thomas seeks an extension of time to serve Ye and co-defendant Yeezy LLC, court documents.

He and his lawyers are asking for an extension until the end of March due to several failed attempts to contact me.

As of now, there is a scheduled case management conference set for April 2023.

Unable to locate

Kanye’s former business manager is also having trouble reporting to Ye’s lawyer because they think he doesn’t have a lawyer.

The court filing reads: “We were advised of a new law firm for the defendants, but not a specific point of contact. We later learned of information in the news that the law firm identified as the new lawyer was not affiliated with the defendants.

“Accordingly, we were unable to serve the defendants through their attorneys. Overall, we had difficulty confirming Kanye West’s current best address.”

The filing continued: “As for Mr. West, despite our best efforts, we have not been able to ascertain his current residential address, and so have not yet attempted to serve him personally. Instead, we have attempted to serve him by mail at as many addresses as possible.”

According to the documents, he attempted to serve Kanye at “three separate addresses” in California — his homes in Hidden Hills, Malibu, and Calabasas.

In addition, the package was returned to one address again.

“We will continue to make diligent and reasonable attempts to serve the accused,” Thomas and his team added, even hiring “appropriate agencies” to assist them in locating him.

Million dollar lawsuit

The failed maintenance attempts come two months after the complaint was filed in Los Angeles.

Thomas sued because he was allegedly not paid for a guaranteed 18 months to serve as Ye’s chief financial advisor and financial manager, according to court documents.

He was supposed to be paid $300,000 a month, but ended up working three of those months, for which he allegedly did not receive payment, court documents claim.

At a meeting in January 2022, detailed in the complaint, Thomas stated that the Thank God singer had become “hot-headed and aggressive” and “yelled” at Mr. St. John, saying he did not want to work with him anymore.

The lawsuit alleged: “When confronted with an 18-month commitment that had just been made, Mr. West uttered poignant words that ’18 months was a bulls**t’ and ‘You’re crazy for even thinking you’re going to commit to it.'” “

Thomas sued for $4.5 million in damages, including the $900,000 allegedly owed to him for his work and the remaining months that were guaranteed under the contract.

Kanye or his representative responded to the lawsuit, and the US Sun requested comment.

Parenting problems

According to photo agencies, the last paparazzi pictures of the father of four were from December 18 where he was seen wearing a black outfit and taking two of his children to church.

The rumor of Kanye’s loss comes shortly after ex Kim Kardashian opened up on Angie Martinez’s IRL Podcast about her co-parenting experience.

She said, “Co-parenting is really hard.”

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 42, and her ex-husband share four children together: North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.

Kim told Angie, “I definitely protected him (Kanye) and still do in my kids’ eyes, for my kids’ sake. So, in my house, my kids don’t know anything that’s going on in the outside world.”

“So, if they don’t know the things that are being said, or what is going on in the world, why am I going to bring this energy to them?” she added.

“This is really heavy, adult heavy a**. And they’re just not ready to deal with it, and when they are, we’ll have those conversations.”
