Greta Thunberg dealt another blow to Andrew Tate in the Twitter spat that exploded this week, infuriating him following his arrest in Romania.
Following news of the controversial influencer’s arrest Thursday, the climate activist said in a post, “This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes.”
Ms Thunberg was referring to the video Tate posted of him sitting at a desk in a robe and smoking a cigar, as he told her to “get alive”.
In the footage, Tate tells someone off camera: “Please get me a pizza and make sure these boxes don’t get recycled.”
He was then handed a stack of boxes that appeared to have the trademark of the Romanian chain Jerry’s Pizza.
With Tate quickly arrested after the video, social media was abuzz with the theory that pizza boxes had revealed his location to police.
The theory spawned the trending hashtag #PizzaTate, although others have pointed out that Tate was posting about his location in Romania prior to the spat.
Romanian authorities have not commented on the video or whether pizza boxes played a role in their investigation.
Tate and his brother Tristan have been under investigation since April, along with two Romanian citizens.
His house in the capital, Bucharest, was reportedly raided, with a lawyer for the brothers confirming their arrest.
Romanian prosecutors said: “It appears that the four suspects … created an organized criminal group with the aim of recruiting, harboring and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content intended to be viewed on specialized websites at a cost.”

The feud between Tate and Ms Thunberg began when he shared a photo on Twitter of himself standing next to a Bugatti and saying he owns 33 cars.
“Please provide your email address so I can send you a full list of my car’s range and its massive emissions,” he tweeted, referring to Ms. Thunberg.
“Yes, please enlighten me,” the Swedish activist responded, adding a mocking fake email address ending with “getalife.com.”
The tweet quickly amassed more than 237 million likes, making it to the top of the list of the 10 most liked tweets in history.
