Strong tremors from the quake were felt by the people of Jjar-Rohtak and nearby areas at 01:19 am Saturday late Saturday night. People celebrating the New Year were scared and ran out of their homes when the earthquake hit. Its intensity was recorded at 3.8 on the Richter scale. Its center remained in the area near Berri and Djana in the Jajar region, between Rahtak and Jajar. However, there is no news of any damages yet.
