MVG reporting from Ally Pally
Written by Rob Moll
Michael van Gerwen went on to win his fourth world title on Tuesday night after exchanging words in a furious row.
Magnificent Mighty Mike whitewashed Dimitri Van den Bergh 6-0 in a one-sided PDC World Darts Championship semi-final.
But the pair — who are a 170-time Big Fish finalist — were far from best of friends as they expressed their unhappiness last night with each other’s behaviour.
DreamMaker, 28, complained in the third set about what he felt was encroachment from Van Gerwen, who illegally stood in the red disqualification zone while his opponent was throwing.
