Stalker 2 hype boosts, new trailer, pre-orders available and PC spec details

Stalker 2 developer GSC Game World has released a new trailer for the upcoming shooter, with pre-orders available for the game once again (initially pushed back in the latter half of 2022).

The trailer in question, which opens with a poignant reminder of this game set in Ukraine, can be seen below. While there is no firm release date for Stalker 2 yet, the developer is once again promising a 2023 launch as part of the official trailer description.

If you pre-order the Digital Standard Edition of Stalker 2, you will receive the game, the extended Campfire content, an exclusive weapon and armor skin, and the “Early Bird” multiplayer badge (multiplayer will be added to the game for a free post-release update). There will also be exclusive Steam content that includes a dynamic theme, gif, and frame avatar. All of this will set you back £49.99.

Stalker 2 Standard Digital Edition.

The Deluxe Digital Edition will include the game, the same Steam exclusive rewards and offers as the Standard Edition, plus a digital art book, the official Stalker 2 soundtrack, an additional side mission that has a “unique story separate from the main mission”, a new outfit and three weapon skins for the campaign Single player, two outfits and three weapon skins for multiplayer experience. This version will cost you £64.99.

Stalker 2 Digital Deluxe Edition.

Finally on the digital side of things, we have the Ultimate Edition. Again, this version comes with the game, as well as all the digital bonuses mentioned earlier. What sets this version apart is that it comes with more character and weapon skins, as well as two story expansions and a season pass that allows owners to get their hands on all the post-release DLC. This will all cost £94.99

Stalker 2 Ultimate Digital Edition.

In addition to the digital sales, there are also four physical versions of the game that you can choose from. These are Standard, Limited, Collector and Ultimate.

The Standard Edition comes with the same pre-order bonuses as the Standard Digital Edition, plus the Book of Steel, a letter from the developers of Stalker 2, a commemorative area pass and a sticker pack.

As mentioned earlier, there is still no set date for Stalker 2. However, the latest rumblings indicate that it will be sometime within the first six months of this year. When it arrives, it will come to Xbox Series X/S and PC, as well as Game Pass.
