Prince Harry has reportedly said he was knocked to the ground by his brother during an argument, and that he killed 25 Taliban soldiers while in Afghanistan, among several unusual claims in his forthcoming memoir.
In his book Spear, which will be released publicly next Tuesday, the Duke of Sussex also admitted to taking cocaine and said a woman with “powers” passed a message from his mother to him, according to reports.
The bombshell allegations were reported after a copy of the diary apparently leaked, and some copies were sold five days earlier in Spain.
According to The Guardian, which says it has seen a copy of the book, the altercation between the brothers culminated when Prince William grabbed Harry by the collar and threw him to the ground, smashing the dog bowl with his back.
William then allegedly declared: “I did not attack you, Harold.” Kensington Palace has not commented on these allegations.

The claim came about when ITV released a second trailer for their upcoming interview with Harry, in which he cast doubt on whether he would attend his father’s coronation saying, “There’s a lot that can happen between now and then.”
Prince Harry reportedly described William as his “sworn enemy” and “beloved brother” in his autobiography as he admitted there had always been competition between them for heir/reserve roles.
The Guardian also claimed that Harry sought help from a “powered” woman while grieving the loss of his mother, Diana, although details of the time and location are scarce.

The duke claimed that the woman had told him that Diana had said: “You are living the life that you cannot. You are living the life that she wanted for you.”
Harry also reportedly admitted to using cocaine for the first time in his diary, after he was offered a ‘line’ during a fishing trip, aged 17, according to Sky News.
Moreover, he revealed that he killed 25 people in his role as an Apache helicopter pilot during his second tour of duty in Afghanistan, the Telegraph reported. Harry said he flew six missions that resulted in “the loss of human life” and that he saw “chess pieces” in them rather than “people”.
Among other revelations apparently detailed in the book are claims that:
– Harry once feared that Camilla, his father’s second wife, would become his “evil stepmother.”
– William and his wife Kate encouraged him to dress as a Nazi to a costume party in 2005 – a move that became a major scandal.
– The King confronted his two sons after Prince Philip’s funeral and begged them not to make his last years “miserable”.
– The King told Princess Diana on the day Harry was born that his “job is done” and that he had delivered an heir and spare parts.
Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace both declined to comment on the allegations.

Harry’s account of the altercation, which he said took place at his home on the grounds of Kensington Palace in 2019, describes how he was left with visible injuries to his back after his brother grabbed him by the collar, ripped his necklace and knocked him to the ground.
The book is said to recount how William called Meghan “rude” and “abrasive”, which led to Harry accusing his brother of repeating the “journalistic version” about her.
Harry describes his brother’s “very heated” mood when he arrived at his home at the time, Nottingham Cottage, to discuss the “disaster” of their relationship, and says the conversation degenerated into shouting.
He wrote: “(William) called me by another name, and then came to me. It all happened so quickly. Very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, tore off my collar, and threw me to the ground. I landed on the dog bowl, which cracked under my back, and bits cut me off. I lay there For a moment, dazed, then I got to my feet and told him to get out.”
Harry goes on to say that William urged him to fight back but he refused before the heir to the throne apologized and told him not to tell Meghan about the altercation. Then Harry said, “You mean you attacked me?” William replied, “I did not attack you, Harold.” He added that the story appeared after his wife noticed “scratches and bruises” on his back.
According to the leaked memoirs — which have not been seen by the Standard — Harry also recounts meeting his father and William after Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021, describing Charles standing between his children and pleading: “Please guys. Don’t make my last years miserable.”
The book – copies of which are already sold out in Spanish bookstores – claims Harry asked his brother and Kate for advice on what to wear to his infamous 2005 costume party where his Nazi costume made headlines around the world and prompted a humiliating apology.
Since then, the prince has described wearing the uniform as one of the “biggest mistakes” he’s ever made.

These revelations come despite publisher Penguin Random House going to great lengths to try to ensure that the memoir is not leaked before the book is published while tightly controlling preview copies. More claims are due this weekend when two interviews air – with ITV and US channel CBS. The official release of the notes is on Tuesday.
A trailer was released from the ITV Conversation on Thursday morning. When asked by journalist Tom Bradby if he still believes in the monarchy, Harry says “yes”, but admits he doesn’t know if he will play any role in the future.
Having questioned whether he will attend the King’s coronation on May 6, Harry adds: “But the door is always open. The ball is in their court. There’s a lot to discuss and I really hope they’re willing to sit down and talk about it.”
In an earlier clip of the Duke’s conversation on ITV, he said: “They feel as though it’s best to somehow keep us as bad guys” and “have shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile”, although it’s unclear who he’s referring to. Harry also reveals to the US radio station that he will not be returning to the Royal Family full time.
The interviews and book are the latest move by the couple since they stepped down from their duties as royals, and mark an escalation in a very public feud with the rest of the royal family, which began when they gave an interview to Oprah Winfrey that included allegations. Racism against Megan and lack of concern for her mental health.
It has also been said that the couple were upset over the disagreement over their security arrangements and how they were treated after the Queen’s death when the King did not personally contact Harry before issuing a public statement.
Those close to Charles insist he has always made it clear how much he loves both of his sons, and has kept communication channels open for the past few years, despite an increasingly strained relationship with Harry since moving to California.
It is understood the monarch has not watched the couple’s Netflix documentary and will not read Harry’s book when it is published, but he has kept in touch with his son including several meetings during last year’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The hardback release will be in British bookstores on Tuesday morning.
Harry and Meghan are said to have signed a four-book deal worth $20 million with Penguin Random House.
