Vladimir Putin is believed to have ordered a ceasefire in Ukraine set to last 36 hours to celebrate the Russian Orthodox Christmas.
The Russian forces were told to withdraw from noon on 6 January until midnight on 7 January.
The Kremlin announced that the war tyrant had ordered his defense minister, Sergei Shoigu, to introduce a ceasefire regime along the entire line of contact.
He also called on Ukraine to reverse the ceasefire and allow the fighters to attend Christmas mass, in what was already described as “hypocrisy”.
His orders come as major new supplies of Russian armored vehicles, along with troops and weapons, have been transferred to Belarus.

It is believed that the Kremlin is planning new attacks against Ukraine from the north.
But Belarus claimed that the weapons were provided to its forces for defensive purposes.
“The decision to create a regional grouping of forces on the territory of Belarus was made and is being implemented solely in order to strengthen the protection and defense of the United States, based on the situation near our borders,” the country’s Ministry of Defense said.
Personnel, weapons, military and special equipment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will continue to arrive in the Republic of Belarus.

The ministry said combat coordination activities were planned as well as exercises for the Air Force.
A statement added: “The joint training of the Belarusian and Russian components of the regional grouping of forces is complex in nature and includes not only the combat component, but also all supporting systems.”
Ukraine has not yet officially responded to Putin’s orders for a 36-hour ceasefire.
