The singer shared the happy news with her 12 million followers on Instagram
Jessie J announced that she is pregnant with her first child, a year after she suffered a miscarriage. The 34-year-old singer said she was “thrilled and horrified” to share the news, asking fans to “please be nice to me.” This comes just over a year after she announced the news of her miscarriage in November 2021.
On Friday, Jessie J shared a video on Instagram, which included photos of her positive pregnancy test, and shots of her growing bump.
She captioned the video, “I’m so happy and terrified to finally share this… Please be nice to me.” “Honestly, oh girl you just want to cry ugly in public in a cat suit eating a chocolate covered pickle no questions asked.” Famous faces including Kelly Rowland, Paloma Faith, Michelle Visage, and Stacy Solomon responded to the post, congratulating the singer. After her miscarriage in 2021, Jessie shared words of support for others who have struggled with the loss of a child.
She said that in a “heartbreaking but beautiful way” the experience “put life into perspective” for her.

She wrote in an Instagram story on Saturday that she couldn’t sleep because she was thinking of the “huge support and love” she felt after sharing the news.
She said: “I can’t help but think of all the women and men who are still grappling with loss and infertility.
“It feels so weird to be on this side after being told I’d never get pregnant from pregnancy loss to pregnancy and then and how quickly it all happened.”
Her mind hadn’t “processed” that it was “actually happening,” she said, and said, “The anxiety at first was overwhelming and I felt like I was just closing my eyes hoping everything would continue to be okay.”
She added, “I’m just still with you and haven’t forgotten any of it. I still want to hug anyone who’s struggling.
“I don’t take one second of this for granted and continue to pray for a safe landing of this magical baby every single day.
“I know I have been blessed with the greatest gift I will ever receive and pray to God more than anything you receive. Whatever that looks like.”
I signed “I love you”.
