According to the National Center of Seismology (NCS), the epicenter of the earthquake was Hingoli district in Maharashtra. The earthquake was detected 5 km from the ground. There is no information about any kind of damages yet due to this earthquake.

The National Center of Seismology (NCS) also reported that an earthquake occurred 43 kilometers north of Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands at approximately 2:48 p.m. The intensity of the earthquake was 4.1. Its depth was 15 km. Earlier on December 15, people felt tremors in Maharashtra. I reached Sangley at about 5:18 PM on the 15th of December. According to the information, its intensity was 2.7.
