“Someone out there with the key to a prison cell should lock up Natalie’s killer,” says the MP.

Someone in Parliament has said that someone “holds the key” to the prison cell where Natalie McNally’s killer should be locked up.

DUP’s Carla Lockhart was speaking as police revisited the crime scene Sunday night. She said the public was still concerned about the killer, who is still at large.

Natalie, 32, who was 15 weeks pregnant, was stabbed to death at her home in Lurgan on December 18.

Police have made two arrests in the case so far, but no one has been charged.

On Friday, the PSNI conducted searches at Silverwood Golf Course – which is directly behind the property where McNally lives.

Less than 24 hours later, a vehicle was seized by police in the Lisburn and Castlereagh area in connection with the investigation. She was taken for further examination.

Sunday night, three weeks after Natalie was killed, officers returned to the scene, talking to motorists and pedestrians, and handing out flyers in an effort to jog people’s memories.

Chief Investigator Neil McGuinness said: “This is just one part of an extensive investigation, in which we have already conducted hundreds of house-to-house inquiries and seized over 3,000 hours of CCTV footage.

The death of Natalie and her unborn child left unimaginable grief for a loving family, whose world has been turned upside down.

Amid their pain, Natalie’s devoted family has somehow found the strength to publicly appeal to anyone with information to do the right thing and speak up.

“Likewise, we are absolutely steadfast in our determination to bring the killer to justice.”

Three weeks after the killing, it remains “extremely important” for anyone with any information to come forward to the PSNI, said Carla Lockhart, the DUP MP for the area.

Having sat with a shattered mum and dad for some time last week, they crave justice. Natalie had everything to live for. She was preparing to be a mummy, she told the Belfast Telegraph, and she was, as her mum and dad put it, “never happier than ever.” time ago”.

“The person responsible is known to someone there. Watch the CCTV – it may jog your memory, if you were a friend of Natalie’s contact with the police, you could keep the key to the cell in which that person should have been locked.

“This horrific incident must remain at the forefront of our minds. Justice for Natalie and her young child, Dean, is what everyone wants.”

“I would like to commend PSNI for their continued efforts and for the increased police presence as required. The killer is still at large and people are concerned.

“It is important that there remains a clear and concerted effort by all to ensure that this individual is apprehended and subjected to the judicial process.”

Mr McGuinness also made a new appeal to help the public identify a man captured on CCTV footage entering and exiting the Silverwood Green property before and after McNally was murdered there.

“We have released the closed-circuit television footage for all to see, and our efforts to identify the man in this footage are ongoing,” he said.

“You will see the suspect arrive at Silverwood Green that night at 8.52pm, and you will see the same number walk away at 9:30pm. I want to keep that image in your mind.

“Please remember, this was the night of Sunday December 18th – the same day as the World Cup Final. I am asking you to take your mind back to that Sunday. If you witnessed anything untoward – no matter how insignificant – or if you caught a camera dash or CCTV footage please get in touch.” I am also keen to highlight a reward of up to £20,000 from Crimestoppers, a charity and independent of the police.

The reward is offered for information provided directly to the Crimestoppers that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Natalie’s murder. Crimestoppers takes information completely anonymously, which means they will never ask for or store any of your personal data.”

At a press conference last week, McGuinness said police had confiscated what they believed was the weapon used to kill Ms. McNally. He also said he did not believe the front door to her home was locked on the night of the murder.

He said, “I think the murderer entered her house as soon as he got to her door.”

Speaking at a vigil in Stormont, Natalie’s brother Declan McNally thanked the crowd for their support.

“Whatever the differences of opinion in this country, we know there is no difference of opinion and everyone wants to see an end to violence against women and girls,” he said.

“Everyone in society must redouble our efforts to end violence against women and girls in memory of our sister Natalie.”
