The Duke of Sussex told Good Morning America that he “can’t get out” of the royal family.
Harry was prompted by Michael Strahan who gave an interview to ABC regarding his hybrid proposal.
Strahan told him, “There will be people who say ‘why don’t they go in or go out,’ because if you go out there is no hypocrisy.”
Harry said: “I can’t get out at all and I’m incredibly aware of my situation.
“I am so grateful for the life I have lived and continue to have.
“But there is no version of me being able to get out of this. I was shocked that my family would allow security to be pulled, especially at our most vulnerable point.”
Asked about critics who say he sold his family, Harry said the only way he can protect his family is to right wrongs, by writing the truth in one place.
“I totally accept that writing a book feeds the beast anyway,” he adds.
