Microsoft is set to stream an “intimate” Xbox show later this month, featuring appearances from the likes of Forza Motorsport, Redfall, and Minecraft Legends.

That’s according to Windows Central’s Jez Corden, who claims the show — reportedly titled Xbox Developer_Direct — will air on Wednesday, January 25th at 12pm PT / 8pm in the UK.

Citing “a variety of sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans,” Corden says the show will focus on content from Xbox and Bethesda, offering an “intimate” look at the “major” first-party titles of 2023. These are said to include the late Arkane, Redfall, Run The latest Forza Motorsport from 10 Studios, the strategy spin-off Minecraft Legends from Mojang, and unspecified ‘content’ from ZeniMax Online Studios.

Corden claims that Bethesda’s highly anticipated space RPG Starfield may skip its January showing for “an even bigger marketing win later.”

Microsoft came under fire after its underwhelming attendance at the Game Awards in December, and Corden says the January show is part of a “new initiative” from the company to increase transparency and provide information on upcoming games more frequently in 2023.
