Russia abused its tanks, preferring to use them as hard pillboxes unsupported by infantry.
Well drilled, it is still difficult for dismounted infantry to get close enough to kill, even with highly capable anti-tank missiles supplied by the West such as the American Javelin or the next-generation Anglo-Swedish light anti-tank weapons, better known as the NLAW. Ukraine also lacks sufficient armor to destroy Moscow’s tanks.

Russian vehicles are still ready to be destroyed, as long as Ukraine can adopt a “combined arms” war, where tanks, infantry, artillery and air forces work together.
Russian defense lines are very weak. Once a hole is blown, there is little Putin’s forces can do to stop a Ukrainian advance deep into Moscow’s rear.
