Dear WWE Universe,
About 8 months ago, I took a vacation and within a few weeks, I unexpectedly had the opportunity of a lifetime. I had the honor of returning as the co-CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of WWE. I cannot put into words how proud I am to lead what I consider to be the greatest company in the world, working alongside an incredible leadership team and one of the strongest executives I have ever known in Co-CEO, Nick Khan.
Our founder, Vince McMahon, is back as CEO and leading an exciting process in terms of strategic alternatives. And with the leadership of Nick and Paul “Triple H” Levesque as Chief Content Officer, I’m confident WWE is in the perfect place to continue to deliver unparalleled creative content and maximize shareholder value.
WWE is in such a strong position, that I’ve decided to take my sabbatical and take it one step further with my official resignation.
I look forward to cheering for WWE from the other side of the business, having started as a young kid, as a die-hard fan. I will always be dedicated to WWE. I really love our company, our employees, our stars and our fans. I am grateful to all of our partners.
