The Princess of Wales has been seen for the first time since the release of her son-in-law, Prince Harry’s memoir, Spear.
Kate was pictured driving around the grounds of Windsor Castle on Wednesday morning – the day after Harry’s book was published.
Cut details of an alleged row between the Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan over the size of Givenchy bridesmaid dresses that the duke says left the former actress “crying on the floor” while preparing for the Sussex wedding.
Harry’s book adds additional detail to Oprah Winfrey’s interview with the Sussexes in 2021, when Meghan claims it was Kate who made her cry, rather than the other way around.
The duke wrote that Kate texted Meghan four days before the wedding to say her daughter, Princess Charlotte, was crying because her dress was “too big, too long, too loose”.

The Duchess reportedly replied that Mr Mirbury had been “waiting all day” at Kensington Palace for alterations, adding that Kate and Charlotte should go there for alterations.
Kate is then said to have replied, ‘No, all dresses need a refresher’, before then backtracking on Meghan’s continued insistence that she see Mr Mirbury.
Megan told Oprah that Kate apologized the next day with flowers and a card. “I did what I would do if I knew I hurt someone. Just to take responsibility for it,” she said.

But the tailor who mended the bride’s dresses before the royal wedding said he had not witnessed any arguments between the two women.
Meghan and the Duke of Sussex called Ajay Mirpuri, who runs Mirpuri Bespoke tailors in London’s West End, four days before their May 2018 nuptials to fix six ill-fitting Givenchy dresses.
Mirpuri told the PA news agency, “I’ve never seen that. A wedding at any level is always stressful, especially in the run-up to it, and this was no different. But everyone was so friendly and so helpful, and it was an honor to ask us to serve.”
In an interview with ITV to promote his book, Harry accused Kate of “profiling” Meghan because she was a divorced, biracial American actress.
Asked what he meant, the Duke said: “Well, an American actress, divorced, biracial, there — there are all different parts to that and what that could mean, but if you are, as a lot of my family does, if you read the press, the newspapers… British, at the same time as living, and then there’s a trend where you can actually end up living in a tabloid bubble rather than in actual reality.”
The Duke of Sussex’s controversial memoir has become the fastest-selling non-fiction book of all time in the UK, according to its publisher.
Spear’s headline-grabbing biography of Harry, which hit shelves Tuesday, has been boosted into the record books with 400,000 copies snapped up in hardcover, e-book and audio.
