amazing. Just what we need. The country is collapsing. Nothing seems to work as it should. But Rishi Sunak has the answer. He can direct our desires. What we apparently need is a partisan political broadcast. Words of condolence and hope from our glorious leader. Who knew it would be so simple to calm our minds? So, late Wednesday, feathers! to the airwaves to share his vision.
The broadcast began with Sunak in a darkened room surrounded by two union cranes. Things must be bad when a man with £720m in his joint bank account can’t seem to turn on the lights. feathers! He peered into the camera, a worried model face.
He started his priorities. I doubt it. His main priority is to try to be re-elected as prime minister in less than two years. Or, failing that, to manage his party’s decline so that the Conservatives do not suffer a crushing defeat. The priority for the rest of us is to find some way to survive. And we absolutely want our country back.
“I know it was hard,” Resch said, trying his best to counteract sympathy. inappropriate. But he was brought in three months ago to fix things. Except he didn’t of course. He was brought in to reform the Tory Party which was stuck in a death spiral. And even then, if only because no one could think of anyone better. But now he wants to provide a “full update” on his progress since he was in office. or an update as complete as it would have been given in three minutes and 40 seconds.
First, Sunak wanted to talk about the economy. At this point, we’ve moved on to an image of an unnamed coastal city. God knows why. As he said, like many countries, the UK has faced an uphill road. But he alone had the courage to impose a cap on energy prices. Which would come as news to the Labor Party who first proposed the idea.
As far as anyone else can remember, Blades! He was never really keen on the idea at first. He then went on to say that he had made the difficult decision to get debt and borrowing under control. While we somehow forget to mention that it was the Tories – remember Liz Truss – under whose rule the economy has collapsed over the past thirteen years. Sunak hastily muttered something about inflation before moving on. How was anyone expected to deal with rising interest rates and unpaid food bills. Just know that the Prime Minister really cares.
Next was the health service. Tag a picture of a doctor standing on the street. “My father was a doctor,” he said, and now for some reason he was staring at us from a different angle. So it didn’t let us down. Perhaps someone should ask his father if NHS doctors are disappointed by what successive Tory governments have done. Obviously, Sunak couldn’t be that proud otherwise he wouldn’t have gone into private.
“We’re giving away NHS records,” said Sunak. More doctors, more nurses. Wonderful. And there are still 136,000 vacancies in the NHS. Supposedly, all of these people refuse to take jobs because they think they will be paid too well. Cognitive dissonance or something. There is still no indication of any of the promised new hospitals. mystery.
But our beating hearts are still… feathers! was over. Much more. Remember that pledge he made a few weeks ago to cut hospital waiting lists? Well, he delivered. The waiting list decreased by three. A British success story born in Downing Street. It’s set to be on every Tory election brochure that comes through your door in the coming months. That’s sure to come as a huge relief to all of the other 7.2 million people on waiting lists. Thankfully A&E departments are in a crisis phase and ambulance wait times for heart attacks and strokes are now at record levels of 90 minutes. Bring the good news.
There was only time for Sunak to mention illegal immigration before it was time for it to end. Now the blades! Somehow he managed to speak without opening his mouth. He may be a nonsense prime minister but he is an excellent ventriloquist. He would put our needs ahead of his party’s and would restore pride for the United Kingdom. I even suspect that people will look elsewhere for this validation. And… cut. This is a detour. about and finished.
Oddly enough, there was no mention of strikes. The one thing on everyone’s mind. I think it must have slipped. There again, what could Sunak say? Even his advisors thought his anti-strike legislation stupid? He, Jeremy Hunt, Steve Barclay, Mark Harper and the rest of the Cabinet have no idea what to do.
They had hoped that the rough play would go down well with traditional Tory voters and they were mistaken that most voters took sides with those on strike. People are tired of the Tories trying to pretend they haven’t been in power for 13 years and they are all in favor of workers trying to be less bankrupt by demanding wage increases that are close to inflation.

It is not just the country that is feeling the malaise. They are Tory MPs too. There was a time when Jacob Rees-Mogg used to be a fixture in the House of Commons. Now he is a rare visitor, and prefers to spend his time plotting in dark corners. On Thursday, he appeared briefly for an interview with JP News. At first he claimed that Boris Johnson had been brainwashed by Wokerati into wearing a mask during lockdown. Next time Jake has surgery, he will no doubt insist that the theater crew breathe germs everywhere.
Then there was another conspiracy. This time to convince us that it was very difficult to give up 4,000 pieces of EU law in a year. Every plot to prevent us from enjoying the benefits of Brexit that many of his party no longer believe exist. But Moj is a believer. He’s going down with this ship.
He also said that the only thing that mattered was a Conservative government. though what he meant was a certain kind of Tory government. One was led by Johnson O. Truss, with whom he remained in contact. Remarkably, the country’s JakeyWorld has a choice. Between a Tory government that will inflict death with a thousand cuts. And one that would burn the whole country down. Lucky us.
