A magnitude 1.4 earthquake was recorded in South Carolina

CENTERVILLE, SC (Fox Carolina) – An earthquake has been confirmed in South Carolina on Wednesday afternoon.

The USGS said a 1.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded near Ladson at about 2:15 p.m.

South Carolina has had a historic number of earthquakes since December 2021.
