Eonsi looked every inch like the proud mom when she invited her 11-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, to join her onstage in Dubai on Saturday night for her first live performance since 2018.
The singer, 41, placed a comforting hand on the back of the visibly tense young woman when she joined her to perform her 2019 Grammy-winning song Brown Skin Girl.
While this marks Blue Ivy’s first appearance on a public stage, the future star has also performed with her mother in pre-recorded stands.
The moment proved to be one of the highlights as Beyoncé headlined the opening of the new Atlantis, The Royal Hotel in Dubai.

The ultra-luxury resort – which took eight years to build – is spread over 63 hectares, with 795 rooms and suites, countless guesthouses and no less than 90 swimming pools.
The Standard were among select VIPs and media who were invited to experience the stunning new hotel and watch the spectacular one-hour outdoor show for which Beyoncé was reportedly paid $24m (£19m).
The Break My Soul ensemble of hitmakers featured no fewer than three costume changes and was accompanied by Firdaus, an all-women orchestra, under the direction of Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman.

She is also joined by America’s Got Talent winners The Mayyas and The Accurate Dance Ensemble from Lebanon with choreography by Emmy-nominated Fatima Robinson.
Security was tight for the highly anticipated party with invitees instructed to wear a special magnetic pin and “carved” bracelet designed by Pichulik, a women-run handmade jewelry atelier based in South Africa.
There was also a strict “no phones” policy whereby attendees were required to put their mobile phones inside specially provided bags which included the name of the hotel and the date of the three day launch activities.
Guests were treated to the free flow of Moët & Chandon and decked out in black cashmere shawls as the night turned chilly.

Although Beyoncé didn’t perform any tracks from the latest Renaissance album, she did some of her biggest hits from Crazy In Love to Halo and Beautiful Liar, along with her star in the Etta James classic At Last.
She finished off her standout lesson by bringing out the fan-favorite Dunk In Love, soaring sixteen feet into the air amidst one of the world’s unique performance fountains, Skyblaze.
As her final note ends, fireworks and drones light up the hotel.
Then it ended up being Swedish House Mafia for the ultimate DJ set including their hits One and Don’t You Worry Child.
