Where’s the Forspoken PS5 review?

Right now, exclusive Forspoken reviews of the PS5 console are popping up on the web. As the world’s largest indie site dedicated to all things PlayStation, you’ll likely visit Push Square to take a look at our verdict. However, unfortunately, this will not be possible today. In fact, that probably won’t be possible for some time. It’s been fairly well documented so far that Square Enix has been very selective with who gets an early review code for Forspoken, and we haven’t made the cut.

The reason for this isn’t entirely clear to us, but the bottom line is that we didn’t get early access like other highly select media outlets, and so you don’t have a review to read today. We definitely planned on getting one before learning of this major setback. As of this morning, we’ve received our PS5 review code. We will try to post our verdict as soon as possible. However, since this is a large open world game, it will probably take some time.
