The number of people confirmed dead after a mass shooting at a Chinese New Year celebration in California has risen to 11.
Health officials said one of 10 people injured in the massacre in Monterey Park, about seven miles (11 kilometers) east of downtown Los Angeles, has died of his injuries.
Two women, May Nhan, 65, and Lillian Lee, 63, are named among the dead.
Sky News understands that Ming Wei Ma, the owner of the Star Ballroom Dance Studio, has also passed away.
At a news conference late Monday, Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said Alviro Valentino, 68, was also killed.
All but one of the victims were 60 or older, according to the Los Angeles coroner’s office.
A total of 42 rounds were fired at Monterey Park, Luna said, adding that a large-capacity magazine was found at the scene.
About 20 minutes after the shooting there, the 72-year-old suspect, Hou Kan Tran, entered the Lay Lay Ballroom and Studio Dance Club in the nearby city of Alhambra.
Brandon Tsai, who runs the family-run venue, described how he managed to snatch the gun from him before he could start shooting.
“That moment was a primal instinct,” Tsai told the New York Times, adding that the gunman fled the scene after a 90-second struggle.
“Something happened there. I don’t know what happened to me.”

Mr Tsai told the ABC: “When I got brave, I lunged at him with both hands, grabbed the gun and we struggled.
“We struggled in the hallway, trying to keep this gun away from each other. He was hitting me in the face, he was hitting me in the back of the head.”
After he was finally able to control the gun, Mr. Tsai said he pointed it at Tran and yelled, “Get out of here! I’m going to shoot! Go away! Go!”

About 12 hours later, police officers in Torrance, 20 miles southwest of Monterey Park, surrounded a white van Tran was driving.
As the officers approached, they heard a single gunshot from inside as Tran was killing himself.
Luna told reporters that the gun found from inside the truck was registered to the suspect.
It was also revealed that the weapon that Tran was wrestled from in the Alhambra was a Mach 10 semi-automatic 9mm caliber.
Luna called Mr Tsai a “hero”.
In his update, Luna said Tran’s mobile home in a retirement community was searched, where several electronic devices, such as cell phones and computers, were found.
308 caliber rifle and hundreds of rounds of ammunition were also found.
Tran had a “limited criminal history,” Luna said, and was arrested in 1990 for illegal possession of a firearm.

Law enforcement said the evidence collected so far indicated a personal motive rather than terrorism or a hate crime, NBC reported.
It was found that Tran visited police in his hometown of Hamid twice this month to claim he was a victim of fraud, theft and poisoning by family members between 10 and 20 in the Los Angeles area, said spokesman Alan Reyes.
Tran said he would return to the station with documents but he did not.
A former tenant described him as “angry and distrustful”.
“There’s a lot of speculation out there and we just don’t know,” said Mayor Henry Law of Monterey Park, when asked about a possible motive.
It was the fifth mass killing of the United States this month.
