Chapa Kurosi, president of the United Nations General Assembly, will arrive in India on Sunday for a three-day visit, during which he is expected to discuss various global challenges with his Indian counterparts.

The trip will be Korosi’s first bilateral visit to any country since he assumed the presidency of the United Nations General Assembly in September 2022, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA).

Kurosi is set to attend the “Beating the Retreat” concert at New Delhi’s historic Vijay Chowk.

The President of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly is scheduled to meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to discuss major regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest.

“It will help reinforce India’s unwavering commitment to multilateralism, including its current G20 presidency, and how it will meaningfully address these global challenges for a better future for the Global South,” she added.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto visits Russia today

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry announced Saturday that Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, will head to Russia on Sunday for a two-day official visit to comprehensively discuss bilateral relations.

Bilawal will travel to Moscow at the invitation of his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, according to a statement.

The statement stated that he will hold official talks with his Russian counterpart, during which the two sides will discuss the overall bilateral relations, and exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern.
