Morning Arsenal fans

Despite the interest in Moises Caicedo, the Gunners are still looking for Declan cedar in the summer.

According to The Telegraph, paying a large transfer fee for the Ecuadorian player would not prevent them from making a move to the England international at the end of the campaign.

A move for Rice could be worth around £70m.

Arsenal reportedly made a £70m bid for Caicedo, which was rejected by the Brighton side, who are demanding £80m.

Arsenal denied having any role in encouraging Caicedio to hand in the transfer request.

The Brighton midfielder pleaded with his club on Instagram to let him leave, after Arsenal announced their interest.

The Seagulls have since been reported to have rejected two offers for their star man believed to be £60m and £70m.

According to football.london, Arsenal have contacted Brighton to say they were not involved in Caicedo’s social media post.

And they want to maintain a good relationship with the club – from whom they previously bought Ben White and, more recently, Leandro Trossard.

A new report states that Arsenal will delay any transfer of Ibrahima Bamba until the end of the current season.

Sport Italia claims the Gunners are interested in bringing the midfielder to the club to bolster their squad.

However, they are in no rush to confirm their interest in a bid – as they continue to chase Brighton star Caicedo.

Napoli and Atalanta are also said to be targeting Vitoria Guimaraes star.

Arsenal are reportedly locked in a battle with crosstown rivals Tottenham for the signing of wonderland, Eli Wahi.

North London clubs are one of a number of clubs interested in Montpellier’s talent, according to Footmercato.

The France Under-19 international, now 20, has scored seven goals this season in Ligue 1 in just 18 appearances.

Arsenal are confident Thomas Partey will be fit for next weekend’s game against Everton.

This is despite the star being injured in yesterday’s FA Cup defeat to Manchester City.

Partey, 29, has been one of Arsenal’s standout players in an unlikely title charge this season.

The former Atletico Madrid player scored two goals in 16 appearances from midfield.

But Partey panicked Mikel Arteta when he was forced to leave at half-time at Al Ittihad yesterday.

Albert Sambi Lokonga came on after Barty had been hit in the ribs.

It was later confirmed by Arteta that the number 5 holder had been set up for an MRI scan, dealing a blow to Arsenal’s title hopes.

However, Arsenal are confident today that Partey has not suffered a serious setback.

Instead, the force’s MRI results gave all the clarity.

He is expected to be in the starting line-up when Arsenal travel to Everton next Saturday.
