Two earthquakes measuring 6.4 and 5.8 on the Richter scale hit Turkey’s southeastern Hatay province on Monday, two weeks after large earthquakes occurred in the same area that left tens of thousands dead.

Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said in a televised statement that three died and 213 were taken to hospital after the earthquakes that occurred on Monday evening, and called on citizens to move away from damaged buildings. The Associated Press reported that at least six people were wounded in Syria.
