At least 11 people have been killed, according to Turkish authorities, after flash floods triggered by heavy rains hit Turkey’s southern provinces of Malatya, Şanliurfa and Adiyaman.
Entire roads were destroyed and cars washed away by the floods. Some of the affected areas were already struggling to recover from devastating earthquakes that have killed tens of thousands of people and displaced many more.
