Erik ten Hag has commented on his future amid the uncertainty surrounding a proposed Manchester United takeover.
He said: ‘It’s not up to me. I see it as a project but I also know you need results.
“We’re in a perfect position, we didn’t expect to be in this position when we started last year in June – let’s be honest. We’re in the top four, we’re in the Europa League quarter-finals, we’re in the FA Cup semi-finals and we already have a trophy in our pockets, What could be better?”

Ten Hag on Maguire’s decision
Eric ten Hag has defended his decision to play Harry Maguire against Everton and believes he deserves his chance to impress.
He told BT Sport: “He played against Fulham, he played against Betis, he played for England, so he’s fit, he’s ready to play, and the thinking is we have the craziest schedule out of all the Premier League teams.
“We have three games to cover in six days – which isn’t right, but we have to deal with it.”
