A teenager was stabbed to death outside a suburban elementary school on Easter Monday.
The victim, aged 17, was found dead from a single stab wound in Longshaw Road, Chingford at 9.20pm.
Paramedics, police and neighbors fought to save the young man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Met spokesperson said: “Officers were on the scene within three minutes along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance.

Despite the efforts of members of the public and the emergency services, he died at the scene.
His closest relatives have been notified.
“The investigation is underway and investigations are ongoing.”
Forensic teams were seen sweeping the area outside the front gates of Longshuo Primary School on Tuesday morning.
Police also closed a surplus clothing bank on a main street.
One dog walker told The Standard: “I feel so sad for someone so young to lose their life in this way. He could have been my friend.”
No arrests have been made.
