ANTIOCACIA, CALIFORNIA – The US Geological Survey recorded a 3.8-magnitude earthquake near Antioch on Wednesday night.
The quake struck four miles from Antioch around 8:35 p.m., according to officials. No damage has been reported at this time, though many viewers contacted KTVU saying they could feel the quake.
Officials said the quake had a depth of 9.94 miles.
Some referred to the shock as “a car crashing into their house” or “a dog suddenly jumping on its bed”.
