Rashford may return
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has traveled to Spain in a boost for manager Erik ten Hag
The United players made their way to Manchester Airport today to travel to Seville for tonight’s Europa League quarter-final second leg.
Dressed in his club suit, Rashford was pictured standing up and removing his briefcase from his brand new £180,000 olive green Lamborghini Urus to join his team-mates.
It would be a welcome sight for the Red Devils, as their top goalscorer has missed the last two matches.
The striker limped down with a thigh injury against Everton 11 days ago, but appeared to have recovered quickly to make the trip to face the six-times title winners, and he has featured in the squad.
Good morning, United fans
Erik ten Hag could give Marcus Rashford a surprise start at Sevilla tonight and beg David De Gea to stay.
Rashford trained principal and moved with the team to Spain after missing the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final 2-2 last week.
Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are expected to once again deputize for injured centre-backs Rafael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
Terrell Malacia and Marcel Sabitzer were also practicing after strikes, though Scott McTominay sat out the drills.
Christian Eriksen should keep his starting place due to Bruno Fernandes being suspended.
A win would come close to achieving a cup treble in Ten Hag’s first season.
With the English Football League already in the trophy cabinet at Old Trafford, the Red Devils face Brighton in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag is keen on ‘full keeper’ De Gea to extend his contract beyond this summer.
The main issue is United’s pressure on the Spaniard to reduce his weekly salary from £375,000 a week to £200,000.
Off the pitch, versatile Ajax defender Lloren Timber tends to favor Liverpool over Old Trafford.
Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho could miss the final two Premier League games after being called up for the Under-20 World Cup – but United hope he doesn’t go.
Tren Haag desperately needed De Gea to stay
Number 1 Eric ten Hag hailed David De Gea as the “complete goalkeeper” despite the clash with Manchester United.
The Red Devils boss is determined to see the club reach an agreement with the Spanish goalkeeper to keep him beyond this season.

De Gea, 32, spent 12 years at Old Trafford after joining from Atletico Madrid.
His current contract expires this summer and United want to cut his wages from £375,000 a week to £200,000, but the player refuses to sign.
Ahead of the Europa League quarter-final second leg against Sevilla on Thursday night, Ten Hag said: ‘David is a versatile and complete goalkeeper. We are very happy with him’.
The Dutchman also highlighted how important De Gea is amid the unknown goalkeeper’s future and question marks over his distribution.
He said: “Everyone has their own style and nowadays in possession it becomes even more important, especially at the top level.
“There you control it and it’s harder for the opponent to gain pressure, and you give up fewer chances.
“But it’s about stopping the goals, stopping the shots, stopping the crosses, one-on-one, like a classic goalkeeper.”
