Toni Garrn has announced that she has separated from her husband, Alex Pettyfer.

The 30-year-old German model took to social media on Saturday to share the news, admitting that it was a “very difficult” decision for the couple of five years.

Since tying the knot in 2020 and meeting two years ago, the couple have also become parents to daughter Luca Malaika, who is set to turn two in June.

While they also decided to marry for the second time in 2022, saying I do in front of their young child.

Revealing the news, Toni shared to her 4.6 million followers on Instagram: “Alex and I made the difficult decision to divorce.”

Adding, “We will continue our relationship as friends and parents to our angel, Luca. Please respect our privacy during this sensitive time.

While Alex hasn’t commented publicly, he did share a photo of the couple’s daughter Luca on his Instagram Stories where they enjoyed some time together in the park.

He captioned the photo: “Happiness.”

Tony and Alex were first linked in 2019 when they attended Elton John’s Oscar party together, but it wasn’t until later in the year that they confirmed their romance.

The pair later worked together on Warning, alongside Alex’s father Richard Pettyfer, Rupert Everett, Thomas Jane, Alice Eve, and Annabelle Wallis.

It comes after Tony and Magic Mike star Alex wed again in 2022 in a second ceremony on the Greek island of Paros.

They’ve been vacationing with their daughter Luca and Toni revealed in July that she and Alex said “I do” again at a beachside party.

Toni wore an elegant white backless wedding dress with a long veil pinned over her blonde hair.

The couple first said I do at an intimate ceremony in Tony’s hometown of Hamburg in November 2020.

They tied the knot in her hometown of Hamburg, Germany 10 months after their Christmas engagement.

After the ceremony, the couple took to Instagram to share their first social media post as newlyweds.

Along with the couple kissing, Tony wrote “Now you can really call me wife,” while Alex wrote “Mr. and Mrs. Pettyfer.”

Alex proposed to the beauty after only 10 months of dating, which is the third time he proposed to one of his girlfriends.

While the question popped up on Christmas Eve, the lovebirds waited for the news to be announced on New Year’s Eve.

The couple shared a photo taken right after the show, with Tony saying, “I still can’t believe it,” while Alex added, “Okay now really last throwback of 2019. In 2020 as a wife.”

Days later, she shared a closer shot of her gorgeous diamond ring.

Along with the surprise, she wrote: ‘Christmas Eve the love of my life surprised me on his knees asking me to be his forever.

He changed my life the day we met and showed me what love really is – so yeah I can’t wait to spend (almost) every day of my life with you @expettyfer.

Toni rose to prominence in the fashion industry after signing an exclusive contract with Calvin Klein in 2008, having made her debut with the designer at the Spring/Summer 2008 fashion show in New York at the age of 15.

She went on to appear in her ad campaign before walking again exclusively for the brand the following year.

In the 2009 seasons, she walked over 60 shows for other famous fashion houses including Stella McCartney, Dior, Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Michelle Kors, and more.

While she’s also known for strutting the runway as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, walking her first runway with the lingerie brand in 2011.

She was ranked 20th on International Models.com’s Top 50 Models in 2012.

The fashion designer launched her own line of jeans after collaborating with German closed denim label in 2014.

She has been featured in a variety of Vogue magazines published around the world, as well as Muse, Glamor, Harper’s Bazaar in America, Italy’s Marie-Claire, iD and many more.

Toni has also turned her hand to acting, playing Reva Steenkamp in the 2017 LifeTime movie Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer.

Meanwhile, British-born Alex made his professional debut in Tom Brown’s Schooldays as the main character, Tom Brown.

He was then cast in June of that year as teenage MI6 spy Alex Rider in Stormbreaker.

He next appeared in the 2008 movie Wild Child, starring alongside Emma Roberts.

The following year, in 2019, he was cast in the lead role of Brody in the sci-fi series The I-Land on Netflix.
