Manchester United are said to be willing to offer Harry Kane an exorbitant salary, the Tottenham striker is expected to command £300,000 a week at Old Trafford and United are also reported to have offered Marcus Rashford the same salary.
Manchester United look set to make Harry Kane one of the club’s most lucrative players by offering an astounding £300,000-a-week deal for a move to Old Trafford.
Kane is currently on Tottenham’s books, but United have begun pursuing a deal for the England captain, with manager Erik ten Hag prioritizing bringing in a new striker in the summer.
The club have also offered to raise Marcus Rashford’s salary to the same figure as they look to tie the super winger on a new long-term deal, according to The Sun.
Rashford will enter the final year of his current contract at the end of the season and United are desperate to retain a player who grew up in the club’s youth ranks.
The extra money will reportedly be raised by David de Gea’s new contract which will see him forfeit his weekly wages and lose his status as the team’s biggest earner.

De Gea’s proposed new deal should see his salary cut from the current week’s £375,000 to a new offer of £200,000.
That would create more money for Kane should he decide to move to United, along with a pay rise for Rashford as the club look to reward him for his best year yet.
Rashford has scored 28 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils this season and helped them reach the Carabao Cup title and the FA Cup Final during Ten Hag’s first season in charge.
Meanwhile, Kane has scored 26 goals in three competitions for Spurs, but 24 of those have come in the Premier League compared to Rashford’s 15.
It is reported that Kane would see his current deal with Tottenham increase by £100,000 in the Premier League 13 times, and Rashford’s deal was similarly raised from £200,000 to more than a quarter of a million pounds.
The English striker duo will meet at Old Trafford on Thursday night as Tottenham try to dampen United’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.
This could be a rehearsal for what would be Tottenham’s most high profile exit since the departure of Gareth Bale to join Real Madrid for a then world record fee in 2013.
However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy could block any attempts by Kane’s rival clubs and could look to hold on to his prized assets at the risk of being allowed to leave for a free in 2024.
Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag has given priority to signing a new attacking star in the summer. Tottenham striker Kane is preparing to enter the last 12 months of his current contract. Rashford is currently in negotiations for a new deal to extend his stay at United.
Levy is a notoriously tough negotiator and previously pipped Manchester City’s interest in Beijing just two years ago.
If Tottenham fail to qualify for the Champions League next season, it would put them in a position where they may need to raise more money through player sales.
Any deal for Kane is likely to fetch a figure close to £100m despite the record-breaking England goalscorer turning 30 in July.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are still chasing a new permanent manager after the sacking of interim coach Christian Stellini on Monday.
