Prince Harry flew to the UK for the coronation on a US Airways commercial flight this morning amid stunned passengers, MailOnline reveals.

Harry traveled from Los Angeles on American Airlines flight AA136, which landed at 11.23am at London Heathrow Airport on Friday.

The Duke of Sussex has already arrived in the UK for his 24-hour visit to attend the coronation of King Charles III – leaving his wife and two children at home.

Harry intends to fly back to California right after the historic party ends tomorrow afternoon so he can go back to see Archie for his fourth birthday.

Tonight Harry is expected to spend one final night at Frogmore Cottage after his father decides to evict him and his American wife just days after the release of his memoir Spare.

The Duke of Sussex will witness the coronation of his father, King Charles III, at Westminster Abbey. But there is speculation that he will not have an official role in the service, and may be seated several rows away from his brother William and other members of the royal family.

Harry and Meghan remain hugely popular in the US, even as their support has waned in Britain

The royal commentators considered whether he would even be allowed to be included in the processions to the abbey. They also noted that he might face “uniform humiliation” because he might not be allowed to wear his uniform.

It is understood the duke will only be in the UK for 24 hours so he can fly home on his son Archie’s fourth birthday, the same day as the coronation.

Regarding Harry’s brief visit, a source told The Sun: ‘Harry will be in and out of the UK within 24 hours. He will only perform the coronation service and then leave.

Asked in an interview in January if he would attend the coronation if invited, Harry said “the door is always open”.

Then it was reported last month that the Duke would come to the coronation alone, leaving Meghan at home with their children Archie and Lilibet.

Since then, Buckingham Palace has said it is delighted to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will be at Westminster Abbey on Saturday. There was uncertainty in the palace about the presence of the Sussex family.

It is expected that Prince William will be allowed to wear military clothing but his brother may not

It was said to have left royal officials unable to sign off arrangements for seating, transport and security plans, as the duke’s confirmation came after the official RSVP date.

Coronation organizers admitted they were stressed about Harry’s plans and said it was like “trying to communicate with Mars”.

Speaking to The Mail on Sunday, royal insiders said they were still seeking confirmation as to “when he will come, when he will return and whether he is happy with his sitting position in the abbey”.

Recently, Harry and Meghan’s famous girlfriend, Gayle King, announced that they are in a “really good place” and made the “best” decision for Meghan to stay in the US while Harry attends the coronation in London.

King said it was ‘right’ for Harry to fly to the UK on May 6 and miss Archie’s fourth birthday, as he would be supporting his father at Westminster Abbey on the biggest day of his life.

It came as Meghan signed a big money deal with the talent agency that represents Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, LeBron James and Serena Williams that will earn her tens of millions of dollars and herald the beginning of her public comeback.
