‘Looks like we caught it early. “I’m still waiting for a scan to kind of confirm it,” Green said, later tweeting that he had begun undergoing chemotherapy.

Green’s brother John is a popular young author, including The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns, and Looking for Alaska, all of which have been adapted for film and television.

The Fault in Our Stars adaptation has grossed over $300 million internationally at the box office.

“Some important news from Hank,” the elder Green wrote in a tweet on Friday. My little brother is my closest collaborator, my oldest friend, and my absolute hero. Thank you for loving him as I do, and for supporting us – and each other – through difficult times.

Hank Green added in his video that he has received a lot of advice from friends who have dealt with different types of cancer.

He wasn’t sure how the fight against Hodgkin’s lymphoma would affect his work moving forward.

He said, “I play it by ear.” “I know I’m going to feel like garbage, like it’s going to be really unpleasant.”

They say God gives his toughest battles to his toughest warriors,” Green tweeted. He gave me treatable early-stage Hodgkin lymphoma because he knows I’m a little kid.

After Green’s announcement, many shared their support for him in the comments.

‘So sorry to hear about Hank! I wish you all the strength and energy to get through this,” tweeted YouTuber Seán McLoughlin, better known as Jacksepticeye.

I don’t care if it’s a parasite but legitimate love and I care about you like you are the weird uncle I’ve never seen. You have, unknowingly, given me so much strength over the years and I hope you feel like society can pour some strength into you!! tweeted a fan.

Fans have also sent Green photos of swans to show their love, per Green’s request.
