A rare earthquake in South Africa hit Johannesburg early Sunday morning.
The magnitude 5.0 quake struck the largest city in South Africa, at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the US Geological Survey.
An Associated Press reporter said the experience was similar to riding a moving train.
