LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA – An initial magnitude 3.8 earthquake was reported in the west side of Los Angeles County early Sunday morning.
According to the US Geological Survey, the quake was reported shortly before 2:30 a.m. 12 miles south-southwest of Malibu.
The USGS requires those who have felt small earthquakes to report on the agency’s website.
As of 2:30 a.m., officials had not said if any injuries had been reported from the quake.
