Manchester United got off to a positive start to pre-season with a win over rivals Leeds United in Oslo.

Mason Mount, who joined in the summer, made his first-team debut for Erik ten Hag and came close to a great goal on his debut when he grabbed the ball up the field before launching a daring shot, only to see the ball go off the bar.

Lisandro Martínez, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane were among the other great players to come under attack, although Ten Hag made big changes at the break.

Winger Noam Emmeran opened the scoring with a fine finishing touch before the Frenchman played in a superb volley through striker Joe Hugill who doubled the lead.
