LOS ANGELES – A small earthquake was reported in the eastern part of Los Angeles County late Tuesday night.
According to the US Geological Survey, the quake occurred at around 9:37 pm with an initial magnitude of 3.0. The small earthquake was reported about 0.6 miles west-southwest of Peel with a depth of 9 miles.
No major damage has been reported.
The USGS requires those who have felt small earthquakes to report on the agency’s website.
